Sikkim & Bhutan Tour

18 Days 17 Nights

This trip offers a beautiful combination of a relatively unknown part of India with one of the most unique destinations in Asia: Bhutan. You’ll start in the Indian state of Sikkim, which was an independent Himalayan kingdom until 1975. Here you’ll visit various monasteries and enjoy the landscape of forested hills and numerous lakes. A special highlight is an overnight stay in a homestay and a stay amidst the rolling tea fields. At Phuentsholing, you’ll cross the border into Bhutan, which has an even more isolated and mysterious culture due to its location against the slopes of the Himalayas. Here you’ll visit various Buddhist monastery forts and connect with the warm-hearted locals. During this trip, you’ll discover a very special side of Asia.
